| This home-away-from-home is located at Colony Reef Club, one of the most desirable resort communities on the Ocean. Enjoy sunrise over the ocean from this direct beachfront unit, and watch the changing light at sunset reflect off the bright surf. The large picture window permits an ocean view from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Sliding doors to the patio permit watching the sunrise from the master bedroom. Patio Furniture provides opportunity for relaxing and eating outside.
The master bedroom has a king size bed (pillow top matress and 500 count combed cotton sheets) and a newly renovated private bath with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has private access to the second newly renovated bathroom, a queen size bed and a twin bed. The third bedroom sleeps two persons in cozy comfort. The kitchen was totally renovated in 2006, and has all new appliances and a stone countertop. It is fully equipped with everything needed to grill steaks or prepare a full Thanksgiving Dinner. The dining table seats six comfortably for a big meal.

Amenities: A few steps from the patio, Colony Reef Club amenities include a large outdoor pool, an outdoor Jacuzzi spa, and a children's pool and play area. The complex also includes 2 all weather tennis courts, renovated in 2008. In the Health Club, you'll find exercise equipment, an indoor racquetball court, a sauna, a newly renovated indoor heated pool, and showers in the locker room.
The condo boasts everything needed for an extended stay, or a hassle free week. Access the Internet wirelessly with your notebook from the condo, pool or beach. There is a cordless phone (FREE local calls!), three Cable TVs with remotes (Living Room, Master Bedroom, and Bedroom #2), DVD players in Living Room & Master Bedroom, and VCR in Bedroom #2, Microwave, Range, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Gas BBQ Grill (Weber Q), Coffee Maker, Small electric appliances, and all linens.
There is a 430X Telescope for viewing the night sky! The unit also has a computer. The condo also includes many items for the active people in your party. We have beach chairs and umbrellas, "Boogie Boards," frisbees, badminton and tennis racquets, puzzles, books, playing cards and cribbage board, backgammon, chess, and beach tools for building sand castles.
Activities: The ocean, and the beach, are the primary activity of most residents and guests. Crossing the dunes over the walkway leads to a wide, sandy beach suitable for running, walking, surfing, body surfing, boogie boarding, building sand castles, reading - or sleeping in the shade of an umbrella.
Early in the morning, and before sunset, you can observe the wildlife in the dunes from the patio. Rabbits are plentiful and entertaining. Look for the Florida land tortoise (an endangered species), and unique indigenous species and migrating birds.
Nearby, you can engage in Golf at several Championship Courses and Tour the World Golf Village. Historic St. Augustine, the oldest continuously inhabited city in North America (1565) is always of interest, especially the Castillo de San Marcos.
St. Augustine is Home to Flagler College, an excellent small undergraduate college located on the premises of the former Flagler Hotel. There are many fine dining establishments in the area. With two major outlet Malls within 15 miles, shopping within the Old City and at the Malls is likely to attract someone in your party.
Alligators and Florida are inseparable. The Alligator Farm has been a center for study and protection of Alligators, reptiles and local indigenous bird species for over a hundred years - and very interesting (and FUN), while educational. Marineland, recently renovated and now affiliated with the University of Florida provides similar education and entertainment with marine species.
For the fishing enthusiast, the options are nearly endless. Surf, pier, deep sea, and inland lake fishing adventures are possible. Fishing at Matanzas Inlet is superb. Bring your boat and explore the InterCoastal Waterway and environs.
Area: Colony Reef Club is close to everything you need for a quiet, or active, holiday. Publix, Winn Dixie and Blockbusters are within a mile. The World Famous Oasis Restaurant, with live entertainment nightly, is less than 1 mile. The Beachcomber, where you can relax while watching expert and amateur surfers is less than 2 miles. Salt Water Cowboy's is within 1 mile. The Anastasia Island Fishing Pier is less than 4 miles. The Old City is 7 miles. There are National Parks and State Parks to observe natural habitat by foot or kayak within 15 miles.
