Description |
| This beach cottage is one of the oldest in Indian Rocks Beach. Built in 1926 by Captain John Manning, the cottage, nestled in a hammock of live oaks and palm trees, is just a block from the beach and the intercoastal, on the other side. A master bedroom with queen bed, a bunk room with 2 twins, and a living room with sleeper sofa accomodate a group/family of 6. A garden room with 2 additional sofas, and living room/dining room accomodate games of Cranium (our favorite) or listening to music or TV on the surround sound system. (2 color TVs with digital cable, DVD/VCR/CD) Sit on the front screened porch, or enjoy the large treed and fenced yard where parrots and wildlife abound in the high hammock. We allow well behaved pets & owners.

Well appointed with an eye toward comfort and an old time Florida feel, the cottage retains its original wood paneling and new seagrass and tile floors. A secluded outdoor shower allows for day and moonlight bathing. Ceiling fans and beautiful art make this a real escape. Our kitchen is fully equipped. Restaurants and shops are within walking or driving distance.
