The condo is situated on a lovely beach with a lawn area with BBQ's, a pool and gazebo. There is sleeping accomodations for up to 6 with a queen bed in the bedroom, bunk beds in the sleeping alcove, and a queen sofa sleeper. The condo is pleasantly decorated and set up to make your vacation comfortable and relaxing. Amenities include: central air, ceiling fans, dishwasher, microwave, 2 cable TVs, DVD, VCR, washer/dryer and a fully stocked kitchen.
There is a glass top dining table inside or you may choose to dine outdoors on the deck while you enjoy the spectacular ocean and beach view. The deck is the perfect spot for watching the sunrise, sunning, relaxing, or just watching the ocean and beach. The view is breathtaking and you can see for miles. If you watch closely near shore you may even see dolphins swimming.
The large oceanfront swimming pool is just steps away and features a sundeck with lounge
chairs, a gazebo, shower, and beach view.
For your convenience we have provided a ground level storage closet for your beach and pool items and for bicycles if you have them. You'll find some beach items in the closet that we've left for your use. The storage is adjacent to the private parking lot provided for Sea Colony guest's use only.
The white sandy beach consists of seven miles of beautiful North Carolina coast and is accessible by a private walkway from the property. Lifeguards are on duty during peak season and hours. Enjoy walking the beach, shelling, swimming, surfing, or just relaxing on the beach.
There are lots of activities scheduled in Carolina Beach including festivals, fireworks and outdoor movies. There is a wide selection of shops and restaurants and fishing excursions from the Marina in town. The historic port city of Wilmington, located 17 miles away, plays host to various special events. One is the North Carolina Azalea festival in April featuring live musical and theater performances, garden and historic home tours, outdoor activities, food and crafts. During the summer outdoor activities are scheduled along the Wilmington riverfront. The North Carolina Battleship Museum and riverfront cruises are in Wilmington. A ferry boat makes the half hour trip to the quaint town of Southport. Cars or Bicycles may be taken onto the ferry that goes from Ft. Fisher to Southport, both great places to visit.
