~ 321 is a one bedroom end unit on the third and top floor in this luxury resort (yes, there are elevators!). ~ Because of its location 321 is exceptionally QUIET and also enjoys stunning PANORAMIC VIEWS. ~ For those reasons it is the most requested one bedroom condominium at the Shores. ~ It's the perfect spot for anyone who wishes to experience the warmth and beauty of Hawaii in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

WHALE WATCHING AND VISIT OLD HAWAII

~ From November until April the Kohala Coast is home to humpback whales and is one of the best whale watching locations anywhere. ~ The Shores is a central location from which to visit and explore: ~ Ancient Hawaiian walking trails (with petroglyphs!) ~ Kohala's fine restaurants ~ Quaint old sugar plantation towns ~ Cattle ranching towns (horseback riding!) ~ The Big Island's Volcanoes ~ Swim with the dolphins (just 5 minutes away!) ~ All of West and North Hawaii's: ~ beautiful beaches ~ tropical rain forests ~ mountain trails ~ The bustling town of Kailua-Kona is only 30 minutes away. ~ 321 is only a 17 minute drive from Kona's Keahole airport. ~ 321 is a short drive to a helicopter tour company. A great way to see the incredible valleys, waterfalls and volcanoes on the Big Island.

321 is fully furnished. ~ The bedroom has a top qualty king size bed, large color TV, DVD and views. ~ The kitchen is fully equipped with everything from blender to rice cooker to salad spinner and views. ~ The living room has expansive views and is furnished to meet your every need: double size convertible sofa, stereo for CD's and cassette tapes (several Hawaiian music CD's provided), color TV and DVD with a large selection of movie videos, books and games. (Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels, masks, fins, tennis rackets and ball are all provided). ~ The bathroom has side-by-side sinks with a full length mirror and a royal size soaking tub and shower. ~ The separate dining area has more views but you will be tempted to have brunch, cocktails or dinner on our spacious, private lanai which has a wet bar, a dining set and lounge chairs.

Area: The Kohala Coast is where the newest luxury resorts, including the Waikoloa Resort, are being placed but it still retains the spirit of Old Hawaii. It has a number of beautiful white sand beaches, one of which has been selected as "Best in the United States", but it also has quiet, secluded coves and back country walking paths. It has great shopping at the different resorts and small towns in the area including the many shops at the unique Kings Shops plaza, which is just a pleasant stroll from 321. You'll be only 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of busy and crowded Kona Town but you'll appreciate the quiet and panoramic views when you return to 321.

"A 7 day Hawaiian vacation with my two daughters proved to be utterly spectacular while staying at 321 Shores. In the early mornings, we enjoyed Kona coffee (or hot chocolate) while relaxing on the tiled lanai in comfortable, padded lounge chairs. 321 is very spacious with windows galore!
