| The General's Daughter invites you to stay at this one of a kind, hand built cabin in the woods -1480 square foot poplar and oak cabin nestled on a heavily wooded,gated 40 acres.Designed and hand built by my father,General James W. Little,a famed Flying Tiger and World War II /Korean /Vietnam veteran. Wall of windows in the great room, cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, 2 fireplaces and luxurious furnishings. Located just 15 miles from THE RED RIVER GORGE/ NATURAL BRIDGE STATE PARK. Do you wonder, as I have why so many rentals show so few pictues of their interiors? Because none is as spectacular as ours. . We offer the following: 1 King Bedroom, 1 bedroom with twin beds, 2 spacious bathrooms- 1 with step in shower,1 with tiled/ tub shower combination. Luxurious cotton towels, with hairdryer, shampoo/soap and all paper products. Loft overlooking the great room with sleeping for 2 and a table and chairs for kids. Beds made with freshly ironed 400 thread count Egyptian sheets, prima loft and down bedding. Brand new Trane central heat and air with ceiling fans, seclusion and privacy away from distraction and noise. Forest views out every window, front porch with rockers and outside dining tables, charcoal grill with charcoal provided. 2 fireplaces (and we provide all the seasoned firewood) you could possibly use, fully equipped kitchen with all the extras! Includes gas stove, microwave, blender, cast iron and stainless cook ware, automatic and press pot for coffee ( coffee on site with grinder to grind your own, condiments and spices cutlery, bar ware, trash bags,detergent and even more!. . Washer/dryer/ with laundry soap, DVD and tv with over 90 movies, phone,CD/radio,and a library full of books. Smoking only under covered front porch. Dock by pond. Walking paths- 1 short to the pond, and another that winds around the cliff line and back to the pond. The best thing we have to offer is total privacy, seclusion and comfort with, as our guests comment "A place I felt an immediate connection with, just like home."
