| Beautiful 2-story ,condominium with unforgettable valley view on Crested Butte mountain. Really more like a townhome.
In summer, hummingbirds come to the feeder on the porch, where you can barbecue on a weber. Mountain bike trails in back, easy walk to gondola for fun ride up mountain. There are tough mountain-biking trails right out back, and also a real real easy one that takes you into town, where you can sling your bike on the back of the town bus for free and ride back up. It's an easy walk thru the flowers of the ski hills to the base, where there are restaurants and outdoor music.
Walk strait in - every room is 2 stories high, and the condo itself has 2 stories, with a bedroom, loft and bathroom upstairs. Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen and 2 bathrooms.Newly remodeled in a Scandinavian style - marble countertops, light and airy design, 4 large spacious rooms with a huge loft. Look up and you'll see the beautiful wood beams in every room. The condo/townhome is huge - 2000 sq. feet.
You walk strait into it (no stairs). It is the topmost unit (no footsteps overhead), but is entered as though on the ground floor as the unit is on the hillside. It is truly ski-in/out and has a beautiful view of the valley. There will be a brand new chair lift to ski to from the condo, so little ones will have no trouble.
There is so much space around this building you will feel like you are in a cabin. There is no building above you or on either side.
In winter, completely ski-in/ski-out. The ski school is right next door, as are two lifts, Peachtree and the new chair lift. You could literally ski into the condo at the end of the day if you could ski on wood.
Have your lift tickets put in the room - you can order ahead at a discount thru the building.
The run down to the condo at the end of the day from the top of the mountain is the prettiest on the hill, with almost 360 degree views of the whole valley. The best sledding hill in Crested Butte is right next door (the former t-bar run). At the base they also have inner tubes for after hours tubing.
In Fall, especially September 15-October 15 the leaves on the Aspens are a riot of color. Fishing, golfing, biking, and hiking beckon everywhere. For mountain bikers, the Upper Loop starts a few feet away.
Take the lift to the top and hike or mountain bike down! The fishing is great, and river rafting/canoeing is a must. Try Crested Butte in summer!
